Unsigned Artist Q&A

Please introduce yourself...
Hi, I'm Matt Brinkworth aka Retrospekt. I'm a drum & bass producer from Cardiff, currently based around Hertfordshire and London.

How long have you been making music?
I've gone through quite a few outlets and genres of music, I play bass guitar and was in a couple bands whilst I was in Cardiff. I started experimenting with electronic music about three or four years ago.

How would you describe your music?
I think I'm still exploring the different aspects of the drum & bass genre but I tend to swing towards more jazzy and soul based chords and moving sub bass lines.

Which track by any artist do you wish you'd made?
Without a doubt, Calibre - Let Me Hold You.
