This podcast is a must-listen if you want a peek at two of the most highly anticipated drum & bass albums of the year. We’ve got a track from the great Artificial Intelligence release Stand Alone, plus a cut from Commix's Re:Call To Mind. Essential listening! As if that wasn’t enough, we’ve got a guest mix from S.P.Y that's absolutely loaded with dubplates and unreleased material from labels such as Metalheadz and Critical. Unsigned Artist Q&A

Please introduce yourself...
Hi, I'm Matt Brinkworth aka Retrospekt. I'm a drum & bass producer from Cardiff, currently based around Hertfordshire and London.

How long have you been making music?
I've gone through quite a few outlets and genres of music, I play bass guitar and was in a couple bands whilst I was in Cardiff. I started experimenting with electronic music about three or four years ago.

How would you describe your music?
I think I'm still exploring the different aspects of the drum & bass genre but I tend to swing towards more jazzy and soul based chords and moving sub bass lines.

Which track by any artist do you wish you'd made?
Without a doubt, Calibre - Let Me Hold You.
