Unsigned artist Q&A: Nilow

Please introduce yourself...

Hello my name is Janis aka Nilow (pronounced Nee-low), a dubstep producer BASSed in Berlin, Germany.

How long have you been making music?
When I was a teenager I played bass in some punk and hardcore garage bands. Also I tried to play drums. Three years ago I got my first producing program, Cubase, but understood nothing until a good friend explained it to me. Now I can say I've been seriously producing for two years.

How would you describe your music?

My music has influences from many genres: electro, drum & bass, dubstep, classical music and many more. All these kinds I try to combine in my tracks. I want to create something new with my tunes. Dubstep is so multifarious and that’s why I love it!

Which track by any artist do you wish you'd made?
Wow - there are many tracks I’d like to have made: Bad Company feat Rawhill Crew - Mo' Fire (Dillinja remix), Borgore - Saturday Night and The Beatles - Yesterday, to name a few.
