Unsigned artist Q&A

HyGrade

Can you introduce yourself?

I'm Dan Traynor, aka HyGrade.

How long have you been making music?

Since I can remember, started out making hip hop beats and now I'm starting to move towards more club orientated music.

How would you describe your music?

I would say my production style is very versatile, I make everything from music that will put you to sleep to tunes that will rip your face off!

Which track by any artist do you wish you'd made?

You Rock My World - Michael Jackson (Darkchild)

How/where can people here more of your music?

Check out youtube/hygrademusic, soundclick.com/hygrade or myspace/hygrade and make sure you follow me on twitter.com/hygrade!

Chaz D

Can you introduce yourself?

19-year-old drum & bass DJ/Producer Charles Dixon aka Chaz D.

How long have you been making music?

I'm not actually sure when I started making music, before drum & bass I used to mess around in a few bands. I've learnt to play the piano & bass guitar so I've always been very musical.

How would you describe your music?

I'm trying to create something that works on the dancefloor, has a lot of energy but is also very musical at the same time. I have many influences in music and I try and incorporate them into my production.

Which track by any artist do you wish you'd made?

At the moment I wish I wrote Therapy by Original Sin.

How/where can people here more of your music?

Myspace.com/djchazd and my releases including In A World, released on X Rated Audio, are available from all good DJ download sites.
