Q&A with unsigned artist PPK
Can you introduce yourself?
My name's Hydrophonic (AKA PPK) and I'm a DJ / producer from Oxford.
How long have you been making music?
For about five years seriously. I've been an passionate vinyl collector since about 1999, when I first discovered drum & bass. Over the years my energy has been more and more focused towards making my own music to incorporate into my DJ sets.
How would you describe your music?
Deep, moody and rolling.
Which track by any artist do you wish you'd made?
This is a hard question as I have so many favourite tunes but one which immediately springs to mind in Jungle Jungle by Total Science - this tune never gets boring for me.
Where can people hear more of your music?
You can listen to my stuff on SoundCloud or MySpace. New tracks on the way so watch this space...
