Phil Source

Phil Aslett aka Phil Source, formerly of Source Direct, founded the Vampire Records imprint in 2006. In that time they have released ten 12"s and a compilation, Once Bitten Twice High, which came out last April. The follow-up to this, Drumz Of The Damned, is coming out on February 15.

"We're looking to push more albums these days as we feel we can put more energy into them," says Phil. "Each album I put together will have old school elements through to future beats that will push the boundaries. The music is always changing and I always want to bring through new artists. This is paramount for evolution of the Vampire sound."

Phil Source is also working on his own album. "I will be making tracks with some of my favourite artists from the label as well as some of my own," explains Phil. "Some of the people that have agreed to go in the studio with me are TeeBee, Sabre, Qumulus, Survival, Outrage, System, Digital, Strago, Masheen, Physics, Edward Oberon, Paul T, Paradox and DJ Trax."
