German drum & bass sister labels Camino Blue and Drone Audio are keeping themselves busy with two new albums.

First up Drone Audio are releasing an artist album by Sunchase. Sunchase hails from Kiev, Ukraine and has first tune came out on Hostile Recordings in 2004. Since then he's clocked up 12" releases on labels like Moving Shadow, Full Force, M-Atome, Sinuous and Revolution but he's now ready to release his debut album.

Entitled Static Nitro, it delves deep into emotive soundscapes, innovative atmospheres and a complete rejection of any kind of drum & bass rulebook.

Sunchase has also just mixed the tenth volume of the Camino Blue / Drone Audio podcast with tracks from his album alongside music by Electrosoul System, Nymfo, Triad and Optiv.

Meanwhile Camino Blue have just released a double CD compilation called Terra Mission. The compilation takes its inspiration from the Terra Mission observatory that collects comprehensive global measurements of earth's atmosphere, cryosphere, lands, and oceans.

"Drum & Bass and science have always been natural partners," they say, "but now it almost feels that partnering the words "futuristic" and "drum & bass" is a cliché of epic proportions. However Terra Mission combines the kind of scientific influence of old, with a slice of modern D&B that satisfies the natural partnership and doesn't feel forced or impossibly self important."

CD1 features 11 unmixed tracks from the likes of Electrosoul System, MAV, Physics and ICR, while CD2 delves deep into the Camino Blue crates with a live DJ mix from P.B.K. featuring vocals from Wiosna.
