Red Bull Music Academy in London

08 Feb 2010

Steamin' into town like a bat out of hell, Red Bull bring their famous Music Academy to the streets of London, but this year they mix up the workshops and mentoring with 5 weeks (February 7 - March 12) of cultural and musical showcases and gigs. Famed for  helping to break such talents as Flying Lotus, this year the brand shows that its definitely got its ears planted to the ground.

Offering young underground producers the chance to work and be trained alongside their idols, 2010's edition sees Soul ll Soul, Goldie, Carl Craig, A Guy Called Gerald, the  Heritage Orchestra, Moodyman, The Scientist, Roots Manuva and Red Bull Music Academy alumnus Flying Lotus.

Sounds tasty already doesn't it, eh? Well over here at Kmag, our jucies are well and truly bubbling for some cutting edge bass action, and a few of the nights particularly stand out and wet our insatiable thirsts. Get involved.
