There are very few names in drum and bass that command respect like Ram Records. Started in 1992 by a certain Andy C with the groundbreaking Sour Mash EP, the label is twenty years old this year, a remarkable achievement for all involved.
The Ram camp have been responsible for some of the biggest releases in the history of drum and bass. From Origin Unknown's classic Valley of the Shadows (below) to phenomenally successful full-lengths from Sub Focus and Chase & Status, the imprint has been at the forefront of the genre right from the beginning.
As well as possessing a back catalogue many would die for, Ram have also thrown some of the most talked about parties in the scene's history. Their shows at The End are the thing of legend, but more recent incarnations at Matter and Fabric have also been some of the biggest nights in the world d'n'b.
It seems quite fitting then, that to celebrate two decades at the top the label have decided to throw a series of raves across the land, including a mammoth 6 hour set at Fabric by the Executioner himself, Mr Andy C. Advance tickets are now gone for that one but a limited number remain for the door - we advise getting there early! If you can't make it, then don't fret too much as there are still plenty of bound-to-be special parties to attend in the name of Ram. For details of all of these, go here.
