Pendulum

 

The countdown to Pendulum's third album is underway as they've just announced a number of DJ and live dates. The working title for the album is Immersion and here's what Pendulum's Rob Swire has to say about it:

"It's been two years in the making and I'm more excited about this record than anything we've ever done. We've been lucky enough to collaborate with some of our idols, played live alongside some of the biggest names in rock and electronic music, and finally set up a permanent studio in London. We've learnt so much during the process and this next record really does feel like a culmination of all those experiences."

You can get a taste of it on their DJ tour of Australia this month and at Matter in London on January 22nd at their Earstorm night. Pendulum will be playing a special album preview set that will be streamed live and joining them on the night are Zane Lowe, Sub Focus, Herve, Craze & Klever, Sinden, Noisia, Glitch Mob (live), Nero, Alix Perez, Bar 9 and Doorly.

May 2010 sees Pendulum hit the road for a live UK tour with support from Sub Focus (live):

  • 17th - Belfast, Ulster Hall
  • 18th - Dublin, Olympia
  • 20th - Edinburgh, Corn Exchange
  • 21st - Blackpool, Empress Ballroom
  • 22nd - Doncaster, Dome                 
  • 25th - Brighton, Centre 
  • 26th - Birmingham, Academy
  • 28th - London, Wembley Arena
  • 29th - Cardiff, Arena
  • 30th - Plymouth, Pavillions   
  • 31st - Swindon, Oasis Centre

Tickets go on sale from Friday December 4th priced at £22.50 (except Belfast £21.50 and Dublin €30) and can be purchased at www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk or sign up at www.pendulum.com for exclusive pre-sale.
