Jack Sparrow

 

Leeds dubstep producer Jack Sparrow is to release his debut LP Circadian on Pinch's Tectonic label. Known for his tribal take on dubstep from previous Tectonic singles like The Chase and Terminal (both of which are updated for the album) and fans of this sound won't be disappointed but the album also contains elements of ragga-techno, deep house and ambient jungle.

The only collaborations are with fellow Leeds based producer Ruckspin on Dread and Indi Kaur provides guest vocals on the soulful Subterranean. In case you're wondering about the title, a circadian rhythm is a roughly 24-hour cycle in the biochemical, physiological, or behavioural processes of living entities.

The album is available on triple pack vinyl, digital download and CD from October 4th and launch party is at Fabric on Friday September 17th.
