German drum & bass label Have-A-Break have no shortage of talent signed up, and as a result have plenty of quality music coming out in forthcoming months.

After a string of successful releases, and plenty more in the pipeline, label boss Christian Lenz spoke to us about these exciting times.

"There's an awful lot going on at the moment," he said, "the new release from Simplification is entitled Never Believe and Dreams, and we're all absolutely buzzing for it.

"Simplification is a hugely talented producer from Sao Paolo, with a sound comparable to that of Nu:Tone," he added, "he has work signed up to DJ Marky's Innerground imprint, and will be featuring on our Liquid Soldiers Volume 2 compilation this summer.

"His music is really positive and uplifting, and he's a quality addition to our label, he really enriches the Have-A-Break sound.

"There are also releases to look out for by Subz & Slare, Atmospherix and a remix by Triad forthcoming on Have-A-Break."

The versatile team behind the label are not just focusing their efforts on drum & bass either, they have plans to venture in to dubstep territory with a remix of Dub Tao's track, Zero Gravity.

"With so much change going on in the scene," added Christian, "we're always looking for ways to keep pace with new trends, whilst always staying true to our roots.

"We're all happy with the way we're heading musically at the moment, and we've got plenty of talent to showcase that.

"We don't want to fall in to a specific category, which is why the Have-A-Break sound is so diverse," he added, "as long as the tune is unique and uplifting, we'll give it some thought."

The Have-A-Break sound looks set to evolve even further towards the middle of 2010, so keep an ear out for the fresh talent emerging on Liquid Soldiers Volume 2.
