Author is the brainchild of Leeds based dubstep producers Jack Sparrow and Ruckspin. Both proved themselves as highly gifted talents in their own right and having collaborated successfully for Dread on Get Darker Presents This is Dubstep 2011, they made the connection a more permanent arrangement.

Their self-entitled album is set for full release on Tectonic in November and will feature appearances from several live musicians as they attempt to emulate the likes of Kruder & Dorfmeister's 'K&D Sessions', The Cinematic Orchestra and timeless Mo' Wax recordings in exploring more spacious arrangements and sounds.  Ahead of that, the boys will be touring to promote the album and have released a video of a live version of their tune After Time to whet your appetite for their very first live performance, scheduled for Room 1 at Fabric on November 4.
