Krafty Kuts DJ Tools iPhone App

Getting a little bored of the same old drop? Are the Allen and Heath filters getting a little repetitive? Or do you just fancy a vocal hype injection to liven up your set?

Well, breaks maestro Krafty Kuts has created the remedy, all at the touch of a screen. His DJ Tools iPhone application has over 100 samples, ranging from rises and sirens to synths and vocals, to take any set to the next level.

Krafty Kuts used his app in front of a crowd of 10,000 on his recent tour of Australia, and as you can see by the video above  it was well received by the masses.

Previously, to launch samples like this over a mix would have involved a third turntable or a laptop, but as we enter the iPhone era, everything seems to become a little easier. His app ensures that putting a set together is no longer an exception.

The app is £2.99 to download, couldn't be easier to install, and after running your iPhone through the mixer, you're away.

The samples are even simpler to use. They're neatly arranged in a funky-looking interface, and whether it's artificial MCs, glitchy bleeps or booming bass drops you're after, it's all at your finger-tips.

This is the first quality app of its kind, and regardless of genre, it's a lot of fun, and jazzes up any set from the bedroom to the booth.
