UV Ray and D Product

Full Cycle is a label that needs to introduction to drum & bass fans. All the members might be doing their own thing now but their legacy lives on through their back catalogue and a recent sample CD.

Full Cycle was synonomous with the Bristol drum & bass "sound" for many years and if you want to sample the source then you can't get anything more authentic than Loopmasters' Full Cycle Artist Samplepack.

Produced by long time Full Cycle producer / engineer, D Product, and Reprazent's drummer, UV Ray, the breaks were recorded live and everything was recorded using high end vintage outboard equipment and then processed digitally.

"All of the sounds in this collection are original, created from analogue and software synths and live instruments," explains D Product. "What we've tried to do is give you a collection of samples which you can use over and over, that you can rely on when you need that certain sound quickly, to keep the creative process flowing!"

"Recording of the beats on this collection spanned over two years, all recorded at Full Cycle / Channel House Studios with additional production from Roni Size, D Product, and some vital input from Krust," adds UV Ray.

In detail you can expect to find 34 bass loops, 83 hard and broken live played and reprogrammed drum loops, 43 tear-out musical loops, 11 vocal and FX Loops, 46 percussion loops, 77 deep bass stabs, 70 individual drum samples, 20 Instrument one shot sounds, 68 vox and FX samples and 47 ready to play patches for Reason NNXT, Halion, Kontakt, and SFZ.

The complete collection weighs in at 850Mb, with 450 Wav Files, 217 Rex Files, and 47 Patches. The collection is also available as a Reason Refill, Ableton Live Pack, and as Apple Loops.

Recently D Product and UV Ray have been recording the new Reprazent album at Peter Gabriel's Real World studios. Can't wait to hear what that sounds like.
