Adam Audio Release New Studio Monitors

If you ask any sound engineer or technical music producer what the best monitors are, most will agree that Adam are somewhere at the top.

Within electronic music production, there aren't many producers who use these because of their price.

And why would you, when many of the top anthems are still being made on solid, mid-level Mackie speakers like the HR824s, and even on "terrible" budget speakers?

Because of the bass and clarity.

Electronic music is more than melody and song, it's also about impact and technicality.

With unusual ribbon-style tweeters, Adam Audio speakers are the only ones I've ever listened to where I was genuinely shocked at the results.

They highlighted all kinds of invisible little flaws in the mix that affect the whole.

David Carbone's mix CD for Loopmasters was engineered on the seminal Adam Audio S3A, which has just been discontinued.

Now, Adam have updated their S range ... say hello to the new S1X, SX3-H and SX3-V, priced at £1,400, £4,000 and £3,499 per pair respectively, with ranges of 40-50,000Hz for the former, and 32-50,000Hz for the latter two.

If you really want to know how powerful and useful Adam Audio are, just ask Noisia or Abbey Road engineers ... some of their more famous users.

We're gonna need a bigger xmas stocking...
