Before The Future Sound Of London made the abstract techno LP Lifeforms to critical, worldwide acclaim they were creating underground rave anthems of epic proportions. This track, Q, taken from the B-side of their 1991 release on Debut Records This Is Love, was cruelly given a B2 placing on the original vinyl pressing. That however did not stop it being discovered by every self respecting techno DJ of the day.

In fact it became a 'must play' anthem in many techno clubs, summing up perfectly the feeling of euphoria that ravers came to uphold and expect in early '90 and '91. Full of Sheffield style bleeps and with a relentless techno beat, this creative and emotional rollercoaster of a track was in my opinion the best track Dougans and Cockbain ever made, surpassing even the all time classic Papua New Guinea. In a word, Immense!!!!!
