You may know the name Diamond Ruff from his sporadic appearances with Terra Firma but he is probably the best kept secret in UK hip hop. Now based in Peterborough, Diam is going solo but he’s brought local up and coming producer DJ Slademan along on the boards for his return to the scene.

Diamond Shining is a classic independent joint, a harmony of horns and blues guitar provide the perfect backdrop for Diamond’s light hearted wordplay and intricate flow. A criminally slept on mc and a future production talent with a cliché free video to boot, this is underground hip hop at its best.
