Verb T - Morning Process LP cover

'Morning Process' is the latest offering from the UK Hip Hop powerhouse that is Verb T; undoubtedly one of the most prolific MCs in the country. The album features production from Leaf Dog, Pete Cannon, Chemo and JJ Malone; it also features four self-produced tracks.

This is a solid album which deals with a lot of issues which are refreshing to hear on a UK Hip Hop release. Topics such as fatherhood and agoraphobia are explored with a finesse rarely seen elsewhere. Highlights include 'Sittin' Here' which features BVA; on the track each MC explores their insecurities over a melancholy banger that comes courtesy of high focus records label mate Leaf Dog.

Other guests include none other than the Grand Imperial Cappo of Nottingham and Skriblah (of Terra Firma fame), these two appear on the same track 'Snake Plissken' which is produced by Verb T himself, this is also a great track.

Later in the album Jam Baxter, Fliptirx, Karizma (also of Nottingham) and Kosyne also feature and they all bring heavy verses to the table. All in all this is some grown man business, a well constructed album which deals with real life issues, a cohesive collection of tracks that work well together as an album; be sure to check it out.
