JME featuring Wiley - Sidetracked (Boy Better Know)
The use of auto-tune in the grime scene often comes under instant attack, and rightly so in the majority of cases. However JME's latest digital offering leaps spectacularly above the shoddy T Pain attempt category with its subtle basslines and catchy lines. JME's ever-present mic ability combines well with Wiley's catchy chorus to create a catchy, mellow affair. Buy the single now for just 79p on iTunes - more than worth it!

Wiley - Never Be Your Woman (Shy FX Radio Edit)(Relentless)
The self-proclaimed godfather of grime might spend the better part of his day engaging in all-out war with other MCs via Twitter but, when we get down to the nitty gritty, Eskiboy is capable of creating a masterpiece. Enlisting the help of rising vocal star Emeli Sande on the chorus and the help of urban music scene royalty Shy FX on the catchy production, Wiley's flow eases in well with the rhythm: "Look away like you never saw him / To hold me down might be awkward / Sighted with another women in Shoreditch / My house I pay the mortgage."

P Money - The Warning (DUB)
South London collective OG'z have been quick to cement their names as one of grime's most promising outfits, with P Money being a name on almost the whole scene's lips at the moment due to his on-going rivalry with Ghetts. Following on from Ghetto's diss tracks All Black Winter and Suicide, Money-Man came back strong with this Silencer produced reply. "Your credibility's nearly all gone / Now when you're on stage the crowd go sick... it's because I walked on."

Ghetts - The Destruction Of The Eiffel Tower (DUB)
So, of course, in reply to the above song Ghetts took the mic and went absolutely mental! The tune in itself is full of witty lines and even sing-a-longs - which for a war dub is a little risky - but Ghetto pulled it off. "Ohh if my name was Paris / I would've spent half of my life embarrassed / I would've wished my parents never met let alone married." The name of dub in itself is clever - P Money's real name is Paris... you get the picture. I was critical of the previous two dubs due to a lack of production quality, however West London based producer Z Dot does well to differ that.

Terror Danjah - Acid (Hyperdub)
Acid is a fitting description for something so poisonous; the rapid opening (followed of course by the legendary Gremlin sample) is brought swiftly to an end by short bursts of criminal bass that are bridged momentarily, with high synths first and then later on by original funky-like drum patterns disguising an orchestra of grime instrumentation. Basically - disgusting. In parts the rhythm borrows slightly, or even just casually flirts with, the idea of The Prodigy's Charly. Grab it from Hyperdub when you can.
