Kryptic Minds

Kryptic Minds reveal the top five tunes at the front of their record box right now...

Icicle & Joker D

Foreseen

Dub
Foreseen sees the guys drop the tempo down to 140 bpm. Icicle's music always has lots of layers and this is no exception. This is what I imagine Ed Rush & Optical would make if they were making dubstep, fans of Wormhole will love this! Pure class from start to finish. Not sure when or what label this is coming out on, but all I know is i've been playing it every set! Love it!

The Bug ft. Flowdan

Run

Swamp81
I was one of the lucky few people who got this track early to play. I am already a huge fan of The Bug and Flowdan; so when Loefah told me about this track I know I was going to love it, and it didn't disappoint! Big driving dubbed out bass which The Bug is known for, which fits in well within the dubstep crew, but also has a mass appeal to cross over into other territories. Flowdan delivers a raw vocal, which compliments the style of the track perfectly. This track will never leave my record bag. Available now on a three track 12" vinyl in a great sleeve design.

Distance

Beyond (Kryptic Minds Mix)
The original is one of our favorite tracks; seriously deep, with a great melody that runs through a lot of the track. Distance really pushes the boundaries and doesn't conform to any rules, so we were very excited when the opportunity arose for us to do a mix. We pretty much kept the same flow as the original, slightly changing the pitch of the entire track. We recreated the melody with real strings - violins, cellos, etc, which doubles with the existing lead. It was important to us that we kept the feel of the original, so we focused more on the deep feel of the track, rather than breaking the tune out into a club track. Only us and Distance have it at the moment, I'm not sure if it will come out but in the mean time the original is out now on Chestplate.

Instra:mental

Rift Zone

Swamp81 Dub
Any style of music the Instra:mental guys turn their hands to turns out pure gold; so when Loefah told me they have finished a track for Swamp81 I was very excited to hear. And it didn't disappoint! Rift Zone is such a catchy hypnotic track that you can't help but hum the bassline after the first listen. Great time-stretched Matrix style vocals gives a futuristic feel. This track is out there on its on, not conforming to any rules. Future zone!

Kryptic Minds

Can't Sleep ft. Alys B
I thought I'd slip in a Kryptic Minds tracks and give Kmag readers a bit of exclusive news. There's been a lot of talk about a release on this track, so here it is. This track will feature on our third album which we are currently nine tracks into and is untitled at the moment. A deep roller with a great vocal by Alys and there will be lots more collabs between us.
