Camo & Krooked
Global Warming / No Soul
Uprising
Austrian maestros Camo & Krooked follow up their excellent The Reward on Viper with this equally futuristic slice of d&b for Uprising. Global Warming is a bouncy, hyperactive track with multi-layered synths and a distinctly sci-fi feel. No Soul is along similar lines with extra stomp factor thrown in for good measure alongside a lilting melody line. Uplifting d&b at its finest.
Cause 4 Concern
Age Of Terror / Scatter Brain
C4C
Original champions of the techstep sound, Cause 4 Concern mark the return of their C4C label with this typically grimy pair of dancefloor bangers. Age Of Terror is built around militant drums and a super dutty bassline, this one taking no prisoners in the dance! On the flip, Scatter Brain is an all out romper stomper with nasty FX and a sledgehammer drumbreak. Filthier than a tramp's underpants.
Zero T & Mosus
Headspace / Top Shelf
Liquid V
For Volume 3 of their Club Sessions series, Liquid V recruit the combined talents of Zero T and Mosus on this haunting release. Headspace is a deep stepper with more than enough low end pressure to keep the bassheads happy. On the flip, Topshelf features the vocal talents of Spikey Tee over subtle, melodic pads, topped off with a side order of added dirt for good measure. Progressive future music all the way.
Netsky
Everyday / Come Back Home
Liqweed Ganja
Hailing from Antwerp, Belgium, Netsky has recently been making waves on the scene with a series of top drawer liquid releases. Following the excellent Starlight on Liquid Allsorts, here he steps up with Everyday, a wicked vocal track which lays the melody on thick but steers clear of the cheese factor. Flipside Come Back Home is more of a roller but no less effective. Big tings!
Digital & Lutin / Digital & Ire
Remote De Force/ Jone
Timeless
Digital steps up to the plate on his own Timeless label with this pair of absolute monsters. On the A side he teams up with Lutin on the typically heavyweight Remote De Force which carries all the Digital trademarks, massive drums and busy percussion with those razor sharp stabs all in place. B-side Jone in collaboration with Ire brings some dubwise pressure to proceedings with a full vocal and guitar thrown in to the mix. Quality shizzle.
