Organikismness Drops Form In Motion

Organikismness

In an ever-changing scene, producing quality music is only half the battle. Diversity in production is fastly becoming an imperative part of making a success of it.

Versatile New Zealander Organikismness has showcased exactly that, with his impressive new album, Form In Motion, which drops soon on Bassweight Recordings.

The 26 track, two disc album contains 13 drum & bass tracks and 13 dubstep tunes, an approach which originates from Organikismness' early love of music.

"I remember when I was first getting in to music," he recalled, "I loved albums from the likes of Delerium and Leftfield, where you had a disc of downbeat or trip hop, accompanied by a disc of techno or trance.

"It's always been a dream of mine to write an album in a similar fashion and after a few years of experimentation, it's here."

Form In Motion is certainly the focal point of the 25-year-old's diary in 2010, but whilst we enjoy the album, he has a plethora of projects in the pipeline.

"I've got the Form In Motion tour around Europe, New Zealand, Australia and Asia coming up, then the PHAT Taster Tour around New Zealand with Optimus Gryme, Dieselboy, Truth and The Upbeats.

"I've also got more remix releases coming up on Bassweight," he added, "as well as two drum & bass EPs on Mindtek and Extent Recordings."

Organikismness' showcases the sound of his fresh new album in a new mix, which you can listen to here.
