Portsmouth isn't a city that most might associate with a thriving drum & bass scene, but a new documentary which looks at the long-running local event, Breakneck, shows what some people might be missing.

Breakneck has been at the forefront of Portsmouth's drum and bass scene for years, hosting monthly parties on the seafront's South Parade Pier as well as throwing some infamous events on forts in the middle of the Solent and a boat that literally saw its roof ripped down.  The documentary looks at what goes into putting on a night like Breakneck, where it all began and what's happened to the local DJs that started out playing the early slot all those years ago.
