Winter Sessions have put on some amazing parties in top ski resort Chamonix recently featuring the likes of The Nextmen, D-Code, JFB, Jenna G, Skitz, Engine-EarZ and Foreign Beggars. As the 2010 winter season comes to close they plan on seeing it out in style with a massive weekender.

 

The weekender takes place from 16 - 18 April and features board and rail shows, extreme sports displays, freestyle ski and snowboard jams and DJ gigs in the mountains and art installations, a trash black tie ball, BBQs and concerts in Chamonix itself. Confirmed so far are Shy FX & Stamina MC, Rodney P, Bug In The Attic (DJ set), Nathan 'Flutebox' Lee & Wandan, Mark Force and Afronaught.

 

If you think this is a bit late for good snow then think again. With 90% of the ski areas being located above 2000m, Chamonix enjoys excellent spring snow conditions. The Grands Montets offers skiing up to 10,000 ft and is the last resort to close on May 9th.
