With most of the UK firmly in the icy grip of winter summer festivals seem a long way away but many festivals are already announcing their line-ups. One such festival is The Parklife Weekender.

Brought to you by the same team behind The Warehouse Project, The Parklife Weekender in Manchester was a one-day festival in 2010. The inaugural year was a sell-out success and lead to an expansion in 2011 to a full weekend party. Year two also proved a big hit once again seeing all tickets flying off the shelves weeks in advance.

2012's Parklife Weekender takes place at Platt Fields Park, Manchester on June 9th and 10th and the line-up is looking rather tasty. Over 100 artists will perform across two days on seven arenas and, as you'd expect from the people behind The Warehouse Project, there's a strong emphasis on cutting edge dance music.

Highlights include headline performances for The Flaming Lips and Dizzee Rascal on the main stage, Nero and Justice playing live in the Metroplex Arena (which we're partnering), De La Soul, The Cuban Brothers and Zinc playing a jungle set in the Hospitality arena on the Sunday. Click here for the full line-up breakdown.

The best bit is you get all this for only £64.50 for the weekend (or £38.50 for the day), get your tickets here.
