Stanton Warriors

With their long-awaited debut album The Warriors having dropped last month, the Stanton Warriors are currently on a high, and they bring
their legendary Stanton Sessions event to Cable in London on Friday, accompanied by a host of top breakbeat talent.

Cable is becoming something of a home from home for the breaks scene right now after hosting the hugely successful Breakspoll, or international breakbeat awards, party in March. The London Bridge venue was also the spot for the most recent Stanton Sessions event last summer which ended up being a full-on roadblock.

This time around The Stantons have hand-picked a line-up that also includes The Freestylers, Deekline and Slyde, as well as support from London crews Supatronix and Crooked. Click here for more info.

"We're looking forward to another bass-shaking night down at Cable London," said the Stantons Dominic Butler. "The last session was rammed and went off hard - in the world of beats and bass line-ups don't come along that often like this."

The Stanton Warriors new album has been picking up spectacular support across the globe. First single Turn Me Up Some, a firing ragga-step number, was named Zane Lowe's hottest record in the world on his Radio 1 show earlier this year, and the LP reached number four on the Australian pop charts. The next single cut from the album will be Superstar, featuring Eboi, for which you can view a video below.
