Night Of The Living Bassheads flyer

OK, a Halloween themed zombie flyer isn't a very original choice for October's flyer of the month but I like the illustration on this flyer and the 'aged' attention to detail as well. The promoters of Night Of The Living Bassheads is a joint promotion between Greco-Roman and Hyponik and we spoke to them to find out more about the night and the flyer of course.

Please introduce yourself briefly...
Hyponik and Greco-Roman are both underground bass collectives from London. We both throw parties, manage musicians / DJs and release records, and generally share the same agenda.

What's the idea behind your flyers?
Sweaty, homo-erotic men grappling in a tongue-in-cheek cartoon style. That's bascially how we DJ.

What's your night all about & how do your flyers reflect this?
The night is a zombie soundclash. And the flyer has zombies' heads exploding from high levels of bass, of course!

Who designed the flyer?
Lorenzo Fruzza, he is part of the Greco-Roman collective

What other work have they done?
All the Greco-Roman singles, albums and flyers. He also did all the Yo Majesty artwork. Check www.myspace.com/grecoromanmusic

What events do you have coming up?
Night Of The Living Bassheads at Plan B in Brixton on October 31st with Rusko, Drums Of Death, Rob Da Bank and Untold. A Bonfire Bass party at the T/Bar on 5th November with Reso, Tomb Crew, Reecha and more. Then our hook up with original dubstep pioneers Hatcha & N-Type, Sin City at Plan B on the 13th November, and a back-to-back 1st Birthday special to mark the return of - Hyp!Hyp!Hyp! at Plan B on Saturday 12th December. Breaking down the essentials of bass music and restructuring them into something beyond mere mortals comprehension!
