Our next Kmag Presents event at Cafe 1001 is on Friday July 22nd and features drum & bass internet radio station Jungletrain.net.

Broadcasting since 2001, jungletrain.net has over 50 live shows a week from DJs from around the world. The station showcases a variety of styles and sub-genres, with a focus on the deeper and more "subverted" sounds of drum & bass.

We spoke to station resident Nultiply to find out a bit more about all the DJs on the line-up.

Chris Inperspective
Representing his own label, Inperspective Records, Chris Inperspective is well known on the london drum & bass circuit for his unique rolling jungle sounds. He has also had previous releases on labels such as Exit Records and Audio Tactics. Sure to be a set not to be missed.

Nultiply
I'm originally from Essex but now based in east London and representing Nu:sounds radio. Expect a mixture of new school tech vibes with a variety of deep drum & bass. Also watch out for my up-and-coming Nu:sounds events popping up across London in the coming months.

Cerberus
Hailing from the Dutch city of Utrecht, this DJ likes to think that diversity in a set is what it's all about. It doesn't matter if a tune is old, new, unreleased, relatively unknown or plain classic, if it fits, it fits. For this special occasion he's teaming up with Arnicvs, expect beats that go across the board!

Arnicvs
Best known for his Atmospheric Aesthetics sessions, Arnicvs is going to set out tonight with Cerberus to show it's not all about the atmospheric soundscapes to float away on. Expect a blend of subverted breaks, droning atmospheric beats and bleeps and, of course, a showcase of his Amen specialties!

Rapid
Will be opening the doors to his Antiques Rave Show at Cafe 1001 and browsing through a 1992/93 selection. On prominent display you will notice jungle tekno, alongside more traditional old skool hardcore. Rapid will be showcasing some of the underground sounds that set the foundations for today's rave scene. Prepare for an anthem-free, tear-out session!

Kmag presents... Jungletrain at Cafe 1001, 91 Brick Lane, London, E1 6QL from 7pm to midnight on Friday July 22nd. FREE!
