GRAM Agency returns to Cafe 1001 for our next Kmag Presents event on Friday July 27th and they're bringing some of their best DJs along for the ride. We spoke to them to find out what they've got in store for us. Remember the night runs from 7pm to midnight and it's FREE to get in all night.

 

Please introduce the GRAM Agency and tell us what you're all about...
GRAM Ltd is a UK based artist agency/management company run by Dave Hayes & Tom Parkin.  Catering for electronic music musicians GRAM looks after a host of international artists whose styles focus mainly on drum & bass, dubstep and music in the 140bpm are.

 

Tell us a bit about everyone on the line-up for your date with us at Cafe 1001 and what people can expect from their sets...
On July 27th you can catch: Eveson (V, Channel 82), Mutated Forms (Grid, CIA), Halogenix (Dispatch Recordings, Warm Communications), Hayze (Sonorous, GRAM) and Illistrate (GRAM).

 

Eveson is coming in with an exclusive album showcase for his forthcoming LP 'The Last Summer of Love' on V, Mutated Forms are treating us to a retrospective set of some of their favourite tracks of years gone by and one of GRAM's newest signings: Halogenix will be showing everyone why he's one of the most talked about artists right now.

 

Any new additions to the agency recently?
We recently had a bit of a roster shake up and the most recent artists to join us are: Halogenix, Random Movement and looking after tour dates for Evol Intent.

 

How are your podcasts going?
The podcast is something a lot of people comment on, with recent volumes from: EBK, Vicious Circle, a mega mix from Mutated Forms, Optiv, The Upbeats, Octane and DLR – it's something that has been going for quite some time now and we are really pleased with the feedback we get from each volume. It's a great outlet to showcase your artists' music, and for the fan / listener to get a little bit closer to the artist they like.

 

 

Have you got any other agency nights lined up?
For the time being we are saving the best for Kmag on July 27th! But we have been in talks with a number of promoters, sometimes it's a case of waiting for the right date for it to fall into place, but I'm sure there will be more in the future, the focus is more on the artists and the labels we work with of course to get them at the right parties and events.
