After a year off, forward-thinking electronic music festival Glade returns from 10 - 12 June at a brand new, as yet undisclosed, venue. This year's event sees the festival scaled down in terms of numbers (strictly limited to 5000 capacity) but will feature the same attention to detail for décor, sound and visual installations which saw the event voted Best Dance Festival 2008 at the UK Festival Awards.
As usual the festival will feature a selection of the biggest names in cutting-edge electronic music. The headliners for the main Glade Stage have just been announced and include the likes of Trentemøller (live featuring full seven-piece band), Drumcode feat. Adam Beyer, Slam, Paul Rich (live), Joseph Capriati, Global Communication, Andrew Weatherall, Photek (live), Dreadzone (live), Krafty Kuts, Hybrid (live), Dirtyphonics (live), Skrillex, Engine Earz Experiment (live), Dub FX & The Flower Fairy (live), Dub Pistols (live), Dirty Vegas (live), Ben & Lex plus more TBA soon.
There are three other stages, Origin for psychedelic trance, Inspiral for chill out and Overkill is Glade Festival's bastard offspring bringing together a collection of IDM's leading lights taking in breakcore, gabba, dubstep, rave, glitch, drone and beyond. For full listing details for each stage check the Glade website.
Weekend tickets are £135 + BF and Camper Van Passes are £50.
