Extalgic festival

Update 28/06/11: This event has been cancelled, a note on the Extalgic website advises "due to circumstances beyond our control we are going to have to cancel Extalgic."

Extalgic is a new festival with a difference. It bills itself as the world's first collaborative music festival, where fans can join the line-up. Not only will there be special sets by the likes of DJ Yoda, JME, Plastician, Rossie B & Luca, Celt Islam, Ben Sharpa, The Selecter, but also a hardcore / drum & bass arena, open mic and deck sessions, music workshops and industry talks.

Over 100 artists will be jamming with 5000 revellers from Friday 8th July to Sunday 10th July in London's Hainault Forest Country Park, 600 acres of ancient woodland. Tickets for the weekend (including camping) are only £65 and it's £25 for Friday night and £30 for Saturday and Sunday respectively.
