Festival season is fast approaching but if you don't like getting muddy in fields or camping but still want the festival experience then you should check out the Detonate Indoor Festival on Bank Holiday Sunday May 1st.

For the fifth year Detonate are taking over several of Nottingham's best venues, including Rock City, Stealth, Rescue Rooms and The Forum, for a huge eight arena, multi-genre festival which features the world's biggest dance acts.

This year's festival sees several of the UK's most prominent club brands and labels hosting arenas.

Skream and Benga head up the Rinse vs FWD arena, with Zinc, Caspa, Plastician, P Money and others.

Hospitality team up with Detonate to host Rock City's main hall with Sub Focus, High Contrast, Danny Byrd, Andy C and Loadstar on the bill.

Photek makes a rare UK appearance in the Mimm arena with 2562, Instra:mental, Bullion, Girl Unit and Untold.

Shy FX's Digital Soundboy label team up with Trap Magazine and Loughborough's DBE night for a label showcase in the Rescue Rooms which sees DJ EZ, Breakage, Redlight, Donaeo, Youngman, B-Traits and Stamina MC join the label boss.

Meanwhile Critical Music represent the deeper end of drum & bass with a line up including Marcus Intalex, Die & Break, Rockwell, DBridge, SPY, Kasra and others.

More acts are due to be announced soon and you can keep up to date with new additions on the Detonate Indoor Festival Facebook page.
