Cable, one of our favourite venues in London, now has a little sister. Relay has been created out of the space that was previously Cable's third room and is now a standalone venue in its own right.

Having expanded into another arch at the back of Cable, the new space is larger, with a new Nova soundsystem especially configured for the new space, new seating area away from the dancefloor, new bar, cloakroom, and some shiny new toilets.

Relay will be run by the same team behind Cable and will enable them to program an even more diverse range of parties across two venues in their London Bridge home. An independent program of events will run in the 500 capacity space, although for really big nights Relay can still open as part of Cable, providing a third room as it did before.

Relay is also set up to handle live bands and even comedy nights as well as DJs. They'll be hosting the Laughing Boy Comedy Club every month and the launch night takes place on Wednesday February 22nd with Charlie Baker, Josh Widdicombe, Lloyd Langford and Patrick Cahill and some very special surprise guests.
