Soul In Motion

Toronto promotion company Soul In Motion are stepping up their game and taking their vibe international. DJ Spinz & Mr.Brown are moving the big show into your backyard, starting with an event in London on Saturday July 17th.

Teamed up with Def:inition, the line-up is like a star-studded belt on the waist of a heavyweight champion. Andy C & GQ, Break, Brookes Brothers, Sigma, a host of emcees, and of course the two imports Spinz & Mr.Brown themselves.

Speaking briefly with James he revealed that they'll also be making stops at Origin & Kool FM, and they'll be playing a couple beach parties in Aiya Napa:

"Well man, this trip is a long time coming. I've always planned to go over the pond but now the timing is right. I dont think the stars could have aligned any better for myself and the crew than they are now. We're extremely excited to go over there and rep the T-Dot.

"The first stop is actually at the legendary Lightbox Club in London to play with the Viper Camp feat. Futurebound, Fresh, DC Breaks, Sigma and more. After that we'll be doing the two stops for radio, and after that is the Def:Inition jam.

"The following day we're flying out to Cyprus and playing on the beach with Shy FX and MC Stamina. The whole trip is kinda surreal to me and I'm very grateful for the opportunities I've been blessed with."

It's always nice to see some of our local DJs make a name away from home. Toronto has long been a destination city for electronic music acts the world over, so having some of our own get that respect in return really shows how borderless the music is, in addition to the instilled sense of pride.

So if you're in town, keep an eye out for Canada's Soul In Motion crew, they're solid guys with a lot of love for the music, buy 'em a beer!
